How often do you feel overwhelmed or frustrated?

This post might be a little long. I was reading a magazine article and it hit home with me.

I am someone who takes on a lot of responsibilities.

I love creating and working towards goals. I love trying new ideas in order to figure out what may work better.

At the same time, I also make myself overwhelmed and frustrated when there is a lot going on.

Can you relate?

Maybe you’re trying to find that work life balance, or maybe you just go with the flow and wait to see what happens next.

In both instances, life can throw a curve ball sometimes. That stress will then work on eating you alive.

Some of the effects stress can cause inculude

  • lack of sleep
  • food cravings
  • sugar cravings
  • procrastination

All of these can then make that stress feel even worse because it’s hurting your health as well.

What can you do to fight back?

Well when I feel stressed, I pick something that I love to focus on. Some of the things that I love include riding the horses or walking the dogs.

Just taking some time to get fresh air and clear my mind helps to put things in perspective.

I think my next few posts may cover some of these topics to help you find strategies that will help you cope when the stress becomes too much in your life.

Personally, I think the most important thing is to find something you love that takes your mind off it all for a little while.

Looking at things later with a clear head can give you a new perspective that may just show you a solution!
