Do you eat comfort food when you are stressed?

When I am feeling stressed I tend to crave sweets.

If there is candy, cookies or ice cream nearby, I will find it.

Usually I can’t just eat a little bit. I will sit and eat until all that was in front of me is gone. Ugh.

Has this ever happened with you?

Then in the end I don’t even feel better. My stomach will hurt from the sweets because I don’t eat them often, and I become frustrated with myself over eating all this yummy comfort food.

I have been working on a couple different things to fix this.

One of the big things it to prevent stress from making me this overwhelmed. I love doing yoga, and I noticed that when I’m stressed I don’t do it as much. Yoga is supposed to be a great stress reliever though.

So now I make sure that I am making time to do some yoga even when I feel like I don’t want to.
