Sometimes the little things we forget can make the biggest difference!

I have a lot going on in my life right now.

I work full time with my online business. I volunteer full time with the horse rescue. I have people and animals that rely on me to take care of them.

Because of all this, taking care of myself doesn’t happen often. I just don’t have time to slow down.

Earlier in the week, my health forced me yet again to step back and take a breather.

I was getting super dizzy. It was making me feel sick. I felt weak. I just felt overall not good.

So I took my self over to my chiropractor to see what he could do to help.

Right now it’s the middle of summer in Tennessee. It’s hot! I drink a good amount of water everyday.

What I found out was….

You need more than just water when you work outside and it’s hot. You need to replenish the electrolytes that you are losing when you sweat.

I was told that my electrolyte imbalance, and a slight case of vertigo, were the cause of me feeling ill.

When you look at a bottle of Gatorade or Powerade,  there is A LOT of sugar!

All that sugar is not really good for you either.

  1. Good fact to know about the electrolyte imbalance. Unless you are going full tilt outside in the heat and humidity you feel like water is enough, but that is not the case and the sports drinks are so sugar laden!
