- Add fruit slices to it. This will give a light fresh flavor.

Weight loss habits: 20 sips when you wake up
Weight loss habits: 20 sips when you wake up
Have you ever started a workout routine or a diet and just wished for the pounds to start to fall off that first day?
I get it.
Today we get so many things in an instant.
When it come to your health though, it’s frustrating to wait for the results that you are working towards.
I found this book by Jenna Wolfe that was an eyeopener.
It’s called Thinner in 30.
The habits in this book are so simple to start using.
I started sharing it with some friends, and they have been loving learning each new habit every week.
So I thought it would be great to share with my readers as well since you are working on improving your health.
The first tip is 20 sips.
I know you have probably heard from everyone how healthy water is.
Everyone talks about it.
But it’s hard to start drinking more water.
Let’s face it… it does not taste as yummy as some of those flavored and sugary drinks!
The 20 sips is a bit different though.
You’re probably wondering why I am talking about 20 sips.
The idea is that you drink 20 sips first thing in the morning when you wake up.
Leave a bottle of water next to your bed.
When you open your eyes, before you get out of bed, drink 20 sips.
You slept all night (hopefully!)
Now your body is dehydrated.
You need water.
Are you one of those people who wakes up and is hungry?
This will help you a lot!
Many times you mistake hunger cravings for being thirsty.
As you drink those 20 sips over the course of a week, you will notice that you are not craving that big stack of syrup covered pancakes first thing in the morning.
This is probably my favorite thing that I learned from the book.
I was one of those people that was thinking about what food was in the fridge, and what would be the fastest to make so I could eat sooner.
This chapter helped me crush that feeling first thing in the morning.
Some of my friends also told me that this habit has also made it easier for them to drink water through the day.
Not really sure how that works, but I’m glad this chapter helped so much!
If you are one of those people who struggles with drinking water through the day, there are a few things that may make it easier for you.
