Fiber for weight loss: Kick the bloat and soothe tummy troubles.

Fiber for Weight loss_ Kick the bloat And Soothe tummy troubles

Have you ever just felt so uncomfortable that you just wanted to sit around in sweat pants?

I get it.

Before I started changing my eating habits and move to a clean eating lifestyle, I would have bloating that lasted sometimes for weeks.

It would get so bad that sometimes that I would feel full after one bite of food, or not even be able to eat at all.

It was the worst feeling.

If my pants even pressed on my stomach it felt horrible.

When I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and began my journey to clean eating, there were two things that I began consuming that made a world of difference,

These two things soothed my stomach and helped me lose inches within the first two days because of how bloated I was.

They were the game changers for me.

What are these two things you’re wondering?

Probiotics and FIBER.

What I learned is that these two things work best when used together.

SO first…

What are probiotics?

These are the good bacteria help your body digest food and absorb nutrition.

Fiber helps the good bacteria and your digestive system as a whole work better.

Fiber pushes everything else through.

When you start using either of these, you want to start with a smaller dose and get yourself used to the added nutrition.

When choosing products, you want to choose high quality products that are free from contaminants.

Along with supplementation there are foods that can also support your digestive system to reduce bloating, help you feel more comfortable, boost your metabolism and even melt some inches away.

Here is a list of foods that are high in fiber:

  • Apples
  • Watermelon
  • Cantelope
  • Celery
  • Carrots
  • Black berries
  • Chia seeds
  • Avocados
  • Oatmeal
  • Raspberries
  • Split peas
  • Chick peas

There are so many different foods that you can choose from, and so many different recipes that you can make.

One of my favorite things that I have started making are smoothies.

They are great for on the go and they make you feel full fast.

You can easily add fiber powder into the smoothies.

When you are making your smoothies, you want to be mindful of the foods that you use.

It can be easy to cram TONS of calories into one drink.

This is where berries can be useful because they are low calorie, full of flavor and also full of fiber.

There are so many different recipes and you’ll never get bored with it!
